What a Day!

Short TSAI on a breach of three day support - sweet. I 've been watching this one since last week when I traded it as a gap fade off of a gapper scan;

Long AKAM - Gapper dummy play;

Short CAL on an intrday rising channel break.

Charts later this evening.

Hope you had a great day!

Hi! Do you have a list of favourites like CAL,TSAI,etc. that you watch all the time? If so, what is so good about them? for example, are they high volume, day trader favourites etc.?

Wow, that was a nice day. CAL is looking like there is much more to come. Check out UAUA as well. Almost identical to CAL on daily chart. Nice work again Jamie.

Hey DT,

Thanks for the tip on UAUA. Looks like the breakout point for both CAL and UAUA is $38.00. Maybe they will breakdown simultaneously and we can trade the pair.

Congrats on the excellent article for investopedia!

Hi Croker,

Yes I have a momo list of stocks that I trade frequently. Half of the list comes from gappers that I found on a scan and traded as a gapper dummy trade and decided to add to the list. Both CAL and TSAI were gappers. CAL has been on the list since the fall and TSAI was added last week.

The other half of the list are the usual suspects (high vol. day trader favs) that everyone trades such as AAPL, AKAM, NVDA, etc.

Gaps are significant and often are just the beginning of a big move, so this is a good way to find stocks with range potential.

Hi, I enjoy your blog, and it would be intersting to me to see also trades that don't work.

Hi Anon,

I posted all my trades on Monday March 5th, PTMK was a failed breakout. Also, check FRPT on Feb. 20th. The key with trades that don't work, is to be able to identify a failure before it turns into a loser.
