A long list of stocks came out of nowhere to post huge gains today. Just looking at the NASDAQ leaders list - check out the charts for FREE, ARTW, GROW, FEED, GSOL, SDTH. With the exception of SEED, my gapper list could not compete with these non-gapper momentum plays.Economic Calendar : import/export, initial claims, and trade balance in pre-market.

I wonder how you search for gappers, from your posts it looks like you are using scans provided by stockcharts and briefing - do they provide current day results (I mean morning gappers with no delay or very small delay). So the trade begins a couple of hours afterwards, when you have completed your tech analysis, so in that case youre not entering in pre-market or right after .. am I right ?
P.S. It will be great if you could find a time to post or refer to your abbreviations list and explanations, cause Im new here and a bit confused with all these slang (BO, ORL etc .. )

The Briefing.com gappers are posted here in the pre-market posts. I don't know how they scan or come up with the lists. My scan on stockcharts.com is real time and I usually run it around 10:00.
I rarely trade in pre-market due to lack of liquidity.
The trade begins when the setup looks like it will BO (breakout). Usually no rush to trade wide gaps because gap has to consolidate before moving higher.
Other sources for gaps are Trade_Ideas pre-market scanner and Interactive Brokers scans
ORL and ORH refer to 15 minute candleticks - Opening range low/high
